What you can do with your PMF data 

The NHT Performance Management Framework (PMF) measures how your Council’s Highways and Transportation Services are performing, against a range of indicators.  The data provides an evidence base for continuous improvement and benchmarking across the NHT Network.

  • Assess Performance – Review results across corporate, management, and operational levels, as well as by theme, activity, and asset type.
  • Track Progress Over Time – Examine direction of travel to identify where performance is improving or where further focus is needed.
  • Support Audit and Review – Use Comparator Group Reports as part of audits or performance reviews, based on relevant service delivery attributes.
  • Inform Strategy and Planning – Apply results to develop and monitor maintenance and management strategies and improve resource allocation.
  • Benchmark and Collaborate – Compare performance with similar authorities, identify exemplar peers, and share learning to drive improvement.
